Help is just a call away! The GBOHT Community Helpline assists residents across Grey and Bruce counties connect with local health and social services. When you call, a trained navigator will listen, assess your needs, and guide you to the most appropriate support—sometimes even staying on the line to ensure a smooth connection.
The Helpline is available Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., including statutory holidays.

Delivers palliative care at Chapman House, an eight-bed hospice. Offers compassionate, person-centered palliative care and grief and bereavement supports to all residents of Grey and Bruce Counties, and their families, at no cost.
Is a warm and inviting residential hospice, which provides compassionate end-of-life care for individuals with life-limiting illnesses. Provides a home-like setting that empowers individuals to live well until the end. Although they are based in Tiverton, they offer end-of-life care and grief support to Huron-Kinloss, Kincardine, Saugeen Shores, and the surrounding area.
Provides personal support workers, rehabilitation services and nursing care for patients in homes, schools, retirement homes, clinics, and workplaces.
Delivers comprehensive, client-centered in‑home care, supporting individuals across all ages with a broad spectrum of professional services. Their offerings include: personal support and home support, nursing, rehabilitative therapies, dietetics, and social work.

Ontario Health atHome provides coordinated home care services across Ontario, supporting people of all ages with care in their own homes. Services include nursing, personal support, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, social work, and help with daily living tasks. A care coordinator works with each client to assess needs and create a personalized care plan. Services are designed to support recovery, maintain independence, and help people remain safely at home for as long as possible.
Offers a full range of home health care services including personal care, homemaking, nursing,occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and many more care services. ParaMed team members provide personalized care plans that are tailored each individual and consider a client’s specific needs.

Beyond the traditional “response and transport” model, Grey Bruce community paramedics use their training, education, and skill sets in “non-traditional” community-based environments with the support of primary care providers, including support for patients on long-term care wait lists, individuals who are palliative , and those experiencing chronic diseases (diabetes, congestive heart failure, and COPD).

Home and Community Support Services (HCSS) assesses for, coordinates, and delivers in-home and community-based services to support patient health and well-being for those 18 years or older.

Grey Bruce Public Health is the regional public health authority serving Grey and Bruce counties, based in Owen Sound. They deliver a comprehensive range of services focused on protecting, promoting, and enhancing community health. Key areas include:
Communicable disease control: Immunization and screening clinics for children, seasonal flu, COVID‑19, measles, and more.
Family and child health: Programs such as Healthy Babies Healthy Children, prenatal supports, breastfeeding resources, oral health clinics, and in-school dental screening.
Infectious disease prevention: Outbreak management, infection prevention in schools, child care, and personal service settings like tattoo/piercing shops.
